Stopped by the grand opening of Waterbean Coffee in Gastonia — great turnout and tons of energy in the place. The building and interior are absolutely beautiful, with a clean and modern feel that really stands out. It did take about an hour to get our drinks (they were definitely slammed with the crowd), but the staff was friendly and working hard to keep up. The live piano was a nice touch, though it was a bit too loud to hold a conversation. Overall, a great addition to Gastonia and looking forward to coming back once things settle down!

Prices were actually reasonable and the food/coffee was great. I personally would take my children but not necessarily unfriendly for kiddos.

Food, drinks and service are all fantastic! Wonderful and quiet atmosphere. Overall a great place to get together with friends and family for a bite to eat or a quick coffee to go. They had a lot more than I anticipated walking in for the first time such as macarons, cookies and ice cream! Will definitely be coming back.

So happy this is open in Gastonia! Came for the first time Saturday morning and returned the following day! I loved the coffee, food, atmosphere, and service. It’s already got a great crowd and nice vibe. Super excited for this place and what it will bring to the neighborhood. It’s cool they offer all day food options and even wine/beer/cocktails and looks like ice cream too.
